Leap calls, A monster, and he's after me! They turn north at the fork. There's a scarf that is torn. Lil says, Oh no, leap! Will we ever see morn? What if it's a tiger, whose face has a scar? Hurry! says lil. We must run. Let's run far! Is the monster still near? Shh...they don't hear a bark. Then whirl, crash, bang, clatter! A storm starts in the dark. They run through the yard, past a horse and a cart. They curl up in the barn. Leap grabs his heart. First, Leap pulls a cord, then his eyes open wide. It's a circus! yells lil.
