They all beg to see the gifts in each box. Ten pens, a doll's bed, a top and a fox. Della yells, Thanks! What nice gifts to get! Look! From Dan Dog, a hot new, red jet! Tad tosses the jet. It sails past the rope. It's lost, Della sobs. There's not a hope. Leap makes a plan to get Del's red jet. I'll need a rod, a log and a net. Leap ties the rod to the neck of the net. Tad hops on the rod. Will the net get the jet? Down drops the net, on top of the jet. You got it! says Del. You're not even wet! They all ate Del's cake, and hot dogs and pop. Nobody wanted the fun day to stop.
