Good evening.
I'm Judy Woodruff.
On the NewsHour tonight:
fearing the worst.
With wildfires still raging
across California,
a grim search
for the dead begins
and concerns grows
for those still missing.
Then, Congress returns
to Washington
following the midterms.
Republicans elects
their leadership,
as Nancy Pelosi meets
with new Democrats
to ask for their support.
And we take
a look
at the effects of Hurricane Maria
on the Zika outbreak
in Puerto Rico
and whether the storm swept away
the virus.
Dr. Carmen Zorrilla:
There was no Zika testing
since September 2017,
since the hurricane.
So we have
no way of knowing
if we are still having
transmission or not.
All that and more
on tonight's 'PBS NewsHour.'
