[4고급] This has been a year that's had a lot of negatives

원장Dear Saddleback Family, This has been a year
that's had a lot of negatives
in it, a lot of stress,
a lot of things
haven't gone the way
we wanted them to go.
And yet God wants us to have
a happy, cheerful attitude.
And in a world
where a lot of people are down,
and discouraged,
and depressed,
where people are worried and anxious,
Christians are called to be different.
That's why we've been talking about
how to be a winsome witness
in a warring, weary, [전쟁중인]
and worn-out world.
Over this past weekend
we had the honor of hearing
from my good friend,
Pastor Derwin Gray.
He and his wife pastor Transformation Church
in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
In his message,
Happy Are the Merciful,
he talked to us about
how happiness is our birthright
as citizens of God's kingdom.
